Check some other post,Mine works very well in the ashtray.There are pictures and instructions posted somewhere in here.Doing it this way eliminates the glare on the drivers side window and just close the ashtray and it is hidden.Just another option.

 

What paint did you use for the Pod?

 

I am not sure what color that is. I bought it from the classifieds used. It was already painted.
