Troyer is king and you have options for devices. I would suggest the Xcal2.

Why did you buy an F-150 if you are so concerned about MPG? Dont expect anymore than +2mpg with any tuner be it X-cal, Edge, Diablo. The best MPG I have seen was 19 and that was on a trip to TN with Edge lvl 3 and 93octane; I kept it at 55 for about 150miles that is just too damn slow.devil:I usually average 15-17 on lvl 3. If you dont mind the wait order a TP X-cal; if you have to have it now order an Edge from Autoanything.com you wont be dissapointed

I went on a trip recently, 16.8 was the average and 18.09 was the best on Edge Lv 2. Not towing, just driving hiway speeds thru TX, NM, and AZ.

Xcal2 would be your best bet. I'd say the top tuners are VMP Tuning, BamaChips, and of course Troyer.

MPG highway average is 21. Why so good

I am new to the forum, and am horrified by all your mpg quotes! Why is mine getting such good mileage? Exhaust is the only performance upgrade(so far)

It is lowered, has 22's and a front bumper cover with a rear rollpan. That's it....Thanks

I look forward to many more posts.

Lower to the ground = better aero dynamics. Plus you dont have big tirres either.

just curious, did you change overall tire size also when you went to the 22s. if your tire now is smaller than stock and you didnt get your speedo recalibrated, then your tires are spinning faster than stock, therefore adding more miles than actually driving, using the same amount of gas, then there you go with a 21 mpg......but if you have gotten the speedo done, then give me some tips....

RE: MPG highway average is 21. Why so good

Yes it has been checked by my performance shop. Tires are fairly narrow for low pro's. 285/35's Also, my speed and miles all line up. I recalibrated using my aftermarket navigation. On the highway, I constantly check my odometer with the mile markers and time it at 60 seconds. It's dead on. Now I am afraid to change anything cause I like my mpg's. I go aprox 460-480 on a tank of gas. 27 gallon tank city and highway.
