CHIP, Exhaust or CAI

What is the best thing to do first?? On a Mostly stock scabfx4 I have 33s and a drop in k&n but thats it. Iwant to get better mpg and power off the line. (I know I should have gotten the 3.73 instead of teh 3.55)

The order that my shop recommends is cold air, exhaust and then chip. That also happens to be the order that i'm doing mine.....

I have done the intake and now the chip. Exhaust will come next. The chip will give you the most noticable difference in performance.

Chip is the only thing you will REALLY feel a difference with. I have the Edge where its easy to buy that first. If you went with Troyer or other similar types, I would do the chip last so they can program your current mods into it.

I hate to break it to you but aftermarket parts don't really get you any better gas milage if you think about it when you increase hp/tq you need 3 things more air, more fuel, more spark. If you want tire spinning action off the line you could have a set of 4:10's droped in but its going to kill your gas mileage.

I gained a solid 1 MPG when I put my dual exhaust on my F-150. And that was with enjoying the sound too... And as for the order, how about all 3 at the same time?

I'm just speaking from past experiances, I have never had any aftermarket mods done that helped out gas and trust me when I say this I have done alot.

Based on your mods these two items are a must
1.A tuner to correct changes from your larger tire size
2.Gears to at least bring you to the same ratio you had with stock tires. 4.10 will help some but 4.30 would be a better choice

Both WILL give you more power and BETTER MPG than what you have now
