Edge Settings-Is this good ??

06 F-150 5.4 3 Valve. I run 93 octane.
Are these settings ok?
Stage 2
WOT 1-2: 5000
WOT 2-3: 5000
Wot 3-4: 4500
Firmness: 0
Shift: 0
Speed: 120
Tires: 2682
Gears 4.56
Timing 3
WOT fuel: 1.50
Idle +100

I like the power off the line. so am I on the right track or should I go to stage 3 ?? Also would it hurt to bump up timing ? Are these setting good ? Mods in singature. Thanks

Conservative shift points?

You can, and should, bump your 1>2 & 2>3 to 5400 safely. Your 3>4 can go to 4800, again, safely.

You didn't state what your limiter was set to - you may need to move that up as well to accomodate the above.

You can search for Bluejay's settings - he knows this stuff cold - I don't.

my shift points are 1-2=5250, 2-3=5250, 3-4 4800
Rev Limiter is at 5650
I run pressure at 12, 12, and 9 for the 3-4, I like a very firm shift, but not jarring.

Rest of you settings look good. But you really need to try Level 3 sometime, it is better for higher rpm range. I use it on trips, on the highway for passing. I use level 2 most of the time around town, but went on a couple of trips recently and got hooked on Level 3 again.

I left the WOT shifts at 5000. Even being set at 5000 the truck still shifts around 5200 (max was 5234) so I left that alone. I did bump up the firmness to +5 on all gears 1-4. If I choose level 3 would I loose low end power ? What would be good numbers to program for level 3 ? Thanks

I run the same settings for Level 2 and Level 3. The only thing I would do differently is adjust the timing to whatever octane I am running. One thing, the maximum RPM needs to be about 400 above your WOT shift points in order for the shifts to work proerly. The max RPM serves as a govener should the tranny blow, keeps the engine from over revving.
