O2 Sensors ?
Not sure if this is the right section for this, but since Mike frequents here, I'm sure he can help. I'm heading down to his place Friday anyway, but thought I would post this here. With my dashhawk, I have the ability to monitor tons of parameters. I was monitoring my O2 sensors, O2 Bank 1 Sensor 1, and 02 Bank2 Sensor1, to be exact and here are the results. My 02B1S1 reading constantly fluctuates. I can't get a definetly reading because it is constantly changing from 65mv-800mv. My 02B2S1 stays average around 600-650, but fluctuates depending on gas anywhere from 550-860. I was wondering if my 02B1S1 is defective, since I can't get any constant reading. It fluctuates so fast that it is impossible to tell what it is. The 02B2S1 I'm able to read it. It doesn't fluctuate as fast and I can get a reading on it. Any help would be great. I'm going to let Mike know on friday about it so he can look into it.

Not going the 14th or 15th ?
O2's are desgined to jump rapidly up and down getting an "average" between rich and lean. The range is 0 to 1, with 0 being lean, 1 being rich. The optimum voltage is about .45 and the readings should fluctuate around this mid-point.
I have been round and round with my B2 O2 - it does not fluctuate rapidly. It moves slowly and the "average" is around .6 or so. I've asked everyone and they all say that if its not throwing a code, the PCM is able to compensate for it. I guess. I've changed to new O2's, swapped the old ones. Still the same. It is not the O2, it is something else, probably electical. Maybe a ground in the harness, maybe something inthe computer itself. Sigh.
Anyhow the fluctuations are what you want.
