Has anyone recently heard (or read) anything about Edge working on an update so the 97-98 users can change the tire size/gear ratio option? It was mentioned a few months ago in here but I really havent seen anything since. Anbody with connections over at Edge know anything?

 

It is impossible to change the tire/gear ratios via computer on the 97-98. They have mechanically driven dashes with cables and everything, why, I don't know, Ford had elec. dashes before these. You have to buy a corrective gear that goes in the tranny to adjust tire size and gear ratios on our trucks. If you regear in this manner your dash and edge should change with each other.
