I'm just curious who has had TP Tunes and has not Data logged. I have had my tunes w/K&N intake since Dec 06 and have not Data logged and everything seems good to go. Their has never been a code thrown. Is their any chance I'm running lean?

 

I have TP tunes and have datalogged. Was hoping to get some more precise tuning but TP said I need to do this simultaneously w/ wideband O2 for A/F ratios... Anyway, I found that one of my forward O2's is not reacting properly. I put two new O2's in and still have one that acts "lazy" and tends toward showing a rich environment. No codes though and that is my message to you. Datalogging can show you subtle things that the CEL light wont come on for. Now it could make you more of a hypochondriact about your truck - "uh oh, wonder what that means? Can't be right. I need a new part...." or it can help you if you know what you are doing, which I usually don't. I'm way on the beginner end of the spectrum.

Never the less, I think you can gain a lot from logging your truck and displaying the log files in Excel or another graphing program. You can see a sample of my logging in my galery. Check out Bank 2 O2 compared to Bank1. You'll see what I mean.
