Hey all,

I was curious? How often do you flash/update your Edge? Me, I just received mine last week and installed it right out of the box. Works great! I love it. I really don't see a need to update it. Maybe I'm wrong in my thinking, but I was wondering what you all do?

While I do understand that sometimes updating your Edge will fix some issues, I have none therefore I see no need.

For those of you that do update your Edge, do you download and run the Beta versions or wait until you know it's a stable version?

I'm curious to see responses from all!

 

It's one of those things that I think needs to be left alone if it's not causing a problem. Bought mine in July, 2006, updated immeddiately as there were some issues having been fixed since my unit had been manufactured. I then installed and have not updated since. It runs and works perfectly.

 

I totally agree with you Bluejay! I installed mine with no issues. It runs great. I'm just curious to see how many others constantly update their Edge?

 

I updated mine once about a year ago, thats it. Everything works fine. Like the saying goes If it aint broke dont fix it.

 

The last update I did was when Bill of EDGE added the AVGMPG. That was over a year ago. I was in the original group purchase.
