Superchips tuner

My Superchips tuner is messing with my electrical system. When installed, the computer or something under the hood makes a screaching noise and lights go dim and blink. It does it with lights on or off. Can't tell where the noise is coming from because it never did it while idling. When I take the programer out I have no problems. Anybody has any ideas what could be the problem.

I'm sorry to hear you are apparently having a problem!

That really should like something *else* is going on with the vehicle that causes it to happen when you engage the OBD-II system to flash the PCM, rather than an actual problem with the programmer itself - we have never seen an issue like that, just to let you know.

However, I suggest you follow your documentation's instructions and call the manufacturer to talk with them about this, and see what they have to say. With anything that is man-made, there is a possibility of a problem, so Superchips may want you to send the unit in for them to check it out for you.

So just give them a call at their number listed in your unit's documentation, and work on it from there, OK?

Good luck!
