i'mreally considering putting this unit in my truck because i had a diesel before with this programmer and it was sikk but i just want to know how good the improvement was on the 97-03's and not the newer trucks!

 

I really like it, the tranny settings are amazing! I don't really notice much extra power, but only run level 2 because I live in Golden, CO and there are frickin hills everywhere and I would assume towing is better than performance level. hope that helps

 

Do it you'll love it, everyone that rides in your truck will wonder how you can make an automatic shift that good, and you'll notice increased throttle response if not ***** out power. I use mine for towing, commuting, speed related activities, and surfing; also noticed slight milage improvement.

I also want this. Pics of it mounted on the dash would be GREAT. I'm worried it would look goofy or the grab handle is in the way....

I also hadnt seen the mounted pods on the 97-03 dash yet, looks like it could flow better, but doesnt look too out of place... I would probably mold mine in if i get around to having enough money to buy one

 

Has anyone compared it to the superchip 1715 maxx micro tuner, It seems to doing a good job, is the edge that much more advance...????

 

Hmm... I'm not really sure if I like the look of that. Plus my grab handles are different than yours.

What is the difference between that Edge and the one that looks like a Gameboy? They are both called Edge Evolution....
