I meant the EDGE product called the juice. Cause I read somewhere where you plug it in to the programer to make it work. If I just have the programmer (which is in the molded pod) I don't need the other product. And the programmer comes with 3 settings.

Maybe I just need to go read about it more.
You don'tneed the juice.

Another question....I don't need the juice to run this do I?
The Juice module is for the diesels...these must be paired with an Attitude or A2 to use. The Attitude and Evolution all look similar but are two totally different products. The Juice is a little black box you stick between the pcm and the engine. It basically intercepts the signals from the pcm and rewrites them going into the engine...hence the ability to change the programming on the fly.

The Edge Evolution is for the f150. All the programming is included in the evolution programmer. This rewrites the PCM.

I would also like to know this because my whole dash is tan and the black would look really out of place.

The dealership or any auto paint shop should have the paint code for tan.

Would it be the same paint as my lower panel accent color?

Does anyone have any problems with the Edge device falling out of the pod on the dash? I drive with my windows down ALL THE TIME, and the Edge mounts right next to the window... how secure is it? I am concerned that it would fall out of the window because of the wind blowing on it....

You got it plugged in don't cha? The cord will keep it from flying away.

Mine hasn't had any issues yet. Sounds like you should afix some velcro to the back just in case.

Since the Edge is illegal in Kalifornia...I chose not to use the pod gizmo so God and all can see/steel it.

I replaced the Cigar Lighter with the Edge.

and it without...

Also...easy to disguise when taking it back to the dealership...no pod or double stick tape to mess with.

So if i were to get one, and use the pod thing.. if i had to go to the dealership, i would need to take it all off and return the settings to stock?

It would be the safe thing to do and is simple. If you don't, your dealer may void your warranty or reflash your PCM. If they reflash your PCM BEFORE you return it to stock, your Edge will become useless.
