Since I have the edge out of my truck for a day, I think I'll go ahead a do an update. I haven't updated since last summer. Has anyone had any problems with the new updates?

I've updated my Edge around January and had no problems. Been using it for about 3 month's now with no issues.

 

I updated on Sunday.

 

Were you having some type of a problem? If not, why update it? As far as I've heard, any updates have been to fix problems or to add new hex codes.

 

Good Point, if it's not broke dont mess with it.

I did try to do an update today. Opened up the evolution software, and checked for updates using the utilities feature. It said updates were available. But when I clicked yes to update; it took me to the edge website and the internet said I had a certifcate error. And that's as far as I got. I just unplugged the USB and left it alone. I hope that I haven't messed anything up.

Mine is working perfectly, no way I will update unless it quits working perctly. Why download all the stuff that doesn't apply? I have had mine since July, 2006 and 15,000 miles. This is not like computer software that might have something you will use someday. These updates are to correct a specific problem.
