Air/Fuel Ratio

This might sound like somewhat of a dumb question but I'm going to go ahead and ask. Does the air/fuel reading that I get stay constant thru the entire powerband? I'm pretty sure that I'm runnning too lean and I just wondered if this is the case.

Thanks,

Hi.

No. It'll be stioic initially (closed loop, after the o2's warm up), then go richer somewhat as required when into open loop ( high load, WOT). This is overly simplified, mind you.

What are you reading it with?

You can search for some of the posted dyno graphs to see what I mean.

Cheers
