I was first up on Friday, all my truck has is a Magnaflow SI/DO, an Air Force One 3.5", and Troyer tunes. Over a course of five dyno pulls, my truck put down a best of 248 rwhp and 309 rwtq on different pulls. HP ranged from 246 to 248 and torque from 307 to 309. This was on a 2007 FX4 scab with a 5.4 and 3.55 gears and 275-55-20 tires on oem 20" wheels. The engine was tight on the dyno it only had 1400 miles on it at the time. over time my #'s should go up with more miles and breakin time.

What octane tunes are you runnung and is it tow or perf? I would of expected closer to 260/320 but then again like you said you only have a few thousand miles on the truck...

Please explain that statement to me that it "SHOULD" be closer to 260/320 !!!
There is NO magic wand or formula that any of these vehicles SHOULD be making any set power numbers. There are far too many variables..Dyno, weather conditions, fuel, and on and on...Just because you may make 300 rwhp one day, does not guarantee that you will or won't make it each and everytime..
That is exactly why ( not picking on you 02xlt, so please don't think I am)
there are so many heated discussions here when it comes to power and numbers made, and that more dyno charts and specifics are not posted....
Too many people seem to believe that every vehicle SHOULD make extremely high power numbers every time...Totally not true...
" I guarantee you that this thread will get beat to death by several of those

I ran 93 octane shell gas and 93 performance tune. And Rockpick's wife let him come out to play, but not for long.

From all of the past posts and information I have seen with people having the exact same modifications I have seen closer to 260/320. That's the only reason for my statement in that post. I understand that every truck is different and that weather conditions are never the same. I also understand that you probably have numerous first hand accounts of dyno runs and all of the different outcomes compared to only my online searching etc... I don't take your post as an attack. Monday I plan to install my 3.25 AF1 and 93 perf tunes and of course the higher the numbers I am seeing from fellow owners the happier I am. Granted that doesn't mean my truck will make that same amount power. It was just a passing comment on his numbers and nothing more.

Well I was the dyno hog this time 2 1/2 hrs, I had a bad MAF and the the mounting bolt fell out of my AF1, after putting a new bolt and new MAF and may pulls later she put down 265/314. on mikes stingy dyno but as Marc said there are many variables to make power, I think there was a few holding the power numbers back but never the less I'm pleased of my truck and I'll come back when the summer fuel does with more mods

Talking

I was up there on Friday night, as I had to be in Bluefield, VA the next day. After almost 2 hours on the dyno and several changes to my tuning later, my 05 4.6 put down a best of 219.52 HP/261.65 TQ on his self proclaimed "stingy dyno". It was nice gettin to meet some of yall from on here and finally gettin to meet Mike and Anita. A shame I didn't get to come around on Saturday, as I'm sure it was fun.

Yep. I was on there on Friday. My numbers are in the back seat pocket of my passenger seat.... which is sitting at the dealership.

I believe I had an injector stick open on the return trip while on the interstate. It missed off and on... never threw a code. Finally, around Morehead, Kentucky, it laid down. Now I'm no crank/no start. Not positive but, maybe I'm hydrolocked (ie: bent rod potentially). I pray the warranty stuff works out -- I'd have to be honest, I'm kind of worried about that.

Long story short -- it was a bad day. Not much more to say other than that...
