Hello all EDGE EVO users:
I inquired with EDGE Corp. relating to the Nitrous add-on that we all viewed on TRUCKS TV show. I was surprised to get such a quick response(next day) I just wanted to let others know they are taking information for a contact list and thought I would pass this on to the group. I for one was impressed with the outcome of the Nitrous add-on. Maybe the more the request the sooner the product may be available

"We do not have this product available quite yet, however we are taking information for a contact list of interested customers. I have added you to the list and as soon as we get this up and running we will be in contact with you. I don't have all of the details, but I am going to forward this email to our marketing department and they should be in contact with you also."

What I did to get on the list was simple. I went to the EDGE web site. Went to "Contact US" and sent an e-mail detailing who I am, My e-mail address and a contact phone number and expressed my interest in the Nitrous add-on for our EDGE EVO programmer as shown on TRUCKS TV show.. Misty Dotson responded the next day with the above message... BoB

 

man i need to send them an email. i wanr to put on a zex kit. i might be able to get a deal from a buddy. ill do it soon.

 

sweet. Sucks that they aren't close to a date yet. That trucks episode came out months ago and there isn't even anything on the web site that mentions its development. So keep us informed I would like to get it as well.

 

Hey Scandall, BoB's note is informative, this is more news than I've had lately about the Nitrous add-on for the EDGE EVO. As he writes in his message, If you would like to get on the contact list here's how to do it. I also think he is refering to the old saying; "strength in numbers". I know I just e-mailed Edge Products and hope to be put on the contact list as well. Thanks for the information BoB.

I hope to be picking up the Edge for my truck in the next month or so and have been looking at tuners for a while. I've seen that episode of trucks a few times and they have it on their site as well. I didn't even realize that they didn't have anything out their like that yet. Seems really freakin cool though....I'm really interested in knowing what the cost would be.

 

Hopefully this won't die like the A2 did for our trucks.

I guess it doesnt concern me because I already have a gps and backup camera through my eclipse avn5500.

 

I spoke to Edge's engineering department last year about the nitrous kit. They told me then, that they weren't pursuing it anymore because they wanted to produce reliable products that weren't a huge liability. The rep I spoke to said that a stock transmission wouldn't last long with their nitrous kit. If I remember correctly it nearly doubled RWHP. (almost 400RWHP)

 

Don't get your hopes to high. I got this email from EDGE on Jan. Second.
