Power Numbers

Anybody know where I can find the claimed horsepower and torque improvements for all the chips like, Predator, Superchis, Hypertech, Edge, Xcal, etc.?? Might speed up the buying process. Thanks.

I'll help you speed up the process. Go to www.troyerperformance.com and give them a call. Seriously.

By the way, in case you haven't seen already, I put down 255/320 on the dyno on friday. I didn't make any pulls with the stock setup, but it's generally agreed that they put down 202-225HP.

I second that motion. Dont waste your time or money on or with anyone else....go to Troyer. You will be like I was, sorry I didnt untill I got smart and did! Research my past posts to see the issues I have had (and all of wich are corrected with my Troyer Tunes) with other tuners.

Hi AzFordGuy,

There really is no one place to go to see "claimed" numbers other than to go to manufacturer web sites.

But our tunes are not like that - what we do is in-depth *custom* tuning, and we have specialized in performance tuning & modifying these F-150's for 15 years now, longer than anyone else, so we are well known for our results.

In fact, we are routinely called by other manufacturers, OEM's, tuners, etc for assistance in developing a number of different products for these trucks because we have specialized in them for so long.

Another truth to be aware of is that claimed numbers is one thing - but what each individual actually makes is another - they do not make the same power stock, and they do not all gain the same amount of power when tuned, they do vary, and sometimes significantly - this is why custom tuning becomes much more important, to get the best results in each and every vehicle - especially vehicles that can vary as much as these F-150's do in terms of their actual real wheel power levels.

I hope this brief info helps, & please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below to go over any of this in more detail - and congrats on that beautiful new truck!
