Hi.

Obtain & install LiveLoad v1.3.1 from here:

http://www.sctflash.com/downloads.php

Follow the instructions to unlock the device.

You may also need to install the X2 drivers ( same page).

Good luck.

Cheers
Bubba

Hi Jacov,

Well, that depends on if there are any "unlocks" left in that particular tuner.

See, the XCal 2 gives you the ability to use it on 6 different vehicles - well, it gives you the first set of tunes, and then also gives you 5 unlocks - which means, as long as you never had to unlock it to use it on the same vehicle due to some screwup of some kind, you could, in theory, use it on a total of 6 different vehicles before it would have to be sent back in to the manufacturer & buy some more unlocks.

To see if you have any unlocks left, just plug it in,and scroll down (using the down arrow key) to where it says Device info, press "select," and then press "cancel." - Then it will tell you how many unlocks you have left, and then you will know if you can use that device by simply unlocking it and getting the tunes you need for the current vehicle you want to use it on.

I think that is the additional info you needed to know, I hope anyway.
