strategy instead of computer code?

My new 2006 F-150 that I just purchased doesn't have a computer code on the door. Also from the drivers side door it looks like it was built in June of 2006, so it was on the dealer lot for several months. I guess it's possible that it could have been flashed? Maybe not... I used my xcal2 to read the strategy (TEJF4E5) will this be sufficient enough to place my tunes order guys? I will call troyer in the morning but I won't be driving the truck into the office so if I need to find someone else on it I need to do it tonight... Thanks!

Your good to go with that. Just in case you didn't know though, the code can also be located on the center module of the pcm. Its on the firewall in the engine compartment on the passengers side.
But, providing the stratergy to Mike is the best way to go....

Exactly, we always prefer to see what the actual strategy is, just in case it has ever been reflashed either by Ford at the factory or at the dealer without the owner knowing it - like before it is even sold, for example, that does happen.

So yes 02, that strategy will be just fine!
