Question about adjusting shift pressure

Question Question about adjusting shift pressure

I once read that adjusting shift pressure is bad but adjusting shift points is ok. I see a lot guys on here are adjusting there pressure points, is there any truth to what I've read before?

i would like to know as well, i know that all three levels increase the shift pressure as it is, and u can increase it more. i bumped mine up +2 i would like to know what others are running at.

well for about 50,000 miles ive had my pressure raised to the max, with a shift kit, no harm done.

Some run up to +18, I have mine up to +12.
