I picked up about 1-2 mpg running Level 2. I lose about 2 mpg when I run Level 3. It doesn't matter what people on here reply back to. Just because I gain 1 - 2 mpg...you might lose a few. Never buy a tuner for an increase in mpg alone....you might end up being disappointed.

well im thinking about gettin the tuner bc i want more response and torque also.. my truck is only a 4.6 v8.. would it really help on my low end torque or if im at a stop, and i wanna get up fast.. does it really perform all that diff? and i also hear that the install is simple in quick.. how true?

I have an 04 w/ a 4.6 and the difference is night and day btween the stock tuning and the EDGE tuning. I also ran a super chips programmer for almost 2 years and was never really happy w/ it. I run level 3 and I get about 1.5 to 2 mpg increase, but it seems like mpg gains are very different from vehicle to vehicle. Some see gains and some dont see any. My truck seems to have more power in every gear and doesn't down shift everytime I hit a hill or go to pass somebody on the freeway. I'm very happy w/ my EDGE tuner.

Running level 2 on my Edge I have a consistent 1.5+mpg gain over stock. Running level 3, my mileage was about the same as stock.

No significant gain in MPG wether I run level 2 or 3. Level 3 definitely uses more than the others on my truck. But again, your results will vary depending on your driving style.

If you can put on your own underwear, then you can install the EDGE. Yes, the throttle is MUCH more responsive and goes "right now" when you hit the gas. It's a huge improvement.

It takes about 3 minutes to install. And it takes up to a few minutes to load a tune...depending on how many different parameters you change.

You only change those settings you want to. For instance, I usually change my octane rating, shift points, shift firmness, and tire size. Doesn't take me but maybe 30 seconds. I believe you can also save these settings onto your computer but I haven't played around with that just yet.

You plug the Edge directly into your ODBII port.
