Looking into getting a tuner for my 05 f150 and was wonderin if anyone ran the power programmer 3 and if you lie it or not. any recomendations appreciated

 

I use the hypertech on 87 octane, but I fixing to switch to the EDGE Evolution. The Hypertech gives you reasonable gains in power, but mostly MPG on 87 octane. the only real down side to the hypertech is it takes SO LONG to program ~30 minutes. Other than that its pretty good. I give it 7 out of 10.

 

2 out of 10 here. Bad customer service like pulling teethe. Only difference with mine installed was firmer shifts. Actualy magnified the ford shift delay problem mine has always had ( that is gone with the x cal 2 by the way) and no noticable power gains what so ever on hi-pref setting.
