yet another lazy data logger..........
yet another lazy data logger..........
So my question is: Can I go to a dyno facility and let them do all the data logging work for me? What do I instruct them to do to insure mike has all he needs? I have no access to a laptop and would have to get someone to do the A/F anyway so why not let then just do it all..........if its possable?

Hi toddyman,
Glad to hear you are enjoying the results!
With regard to the datalogging, any competent dyno facility should be able to to this for you - they need to *precisely* follow our datalogging instructions (you received those in the same email that had your custom program worksheets) and then you need to send us all of that info. If your local dyno facility has any questions, they can call us and we can go over with them exactly how it needs to be done.
Just keep in mind that we need *all* the info - getting us just the A/F ratios does not help us, we need all the other data as well, that is the only way we can adjust the MAF transfer function to dial in the A/F ratios, if that needs to be done - I say this simply because some people will send us only the non-dyno data, meaning data not including A/F ratios, which does not help - then there are others who will just go to a dyno and get *only* the A/F ratios without the other data - so just keep in mind that it needs to be done just as we detail in our docs for datalogging - you can take those docs to your local dyno facility ahead of time and show that info to them to make sure they can do that work, so that you don't waste money at a place that cannot do the datalogging correctly, and again, they can call us about this if you need them to or if they have questions, OK?
Thanks, & enjoy your new performance!

Mike,
The lady at my local dyno was very acceptive of your to the point requests on the data logging. She set up an ecel sheet with all the info you wanted on it. Its not on your sample excel sheet but very close.....I dont have excel on my comp. so I couldnt make any modifications to it. I noted all that when I faxed and emailed everything in Sat night. Anita replied via email today stating she did recive everything and will be forwarding it onto you and Neal. Cant wait for you to analize my numbers so I can put my mind to rest. Know ill have to wait in line
