Troyer Xcal II delivery schedule
Troyer Xcal II delivery schedule
Who has recently received their Xcal II from Troyer and when did you send in your worksheets? I'm trying to figure out who's they're working on now.

I received a blank tuner on Oct 30th and emailed the 7 digit strategy code the same day.
This is Nov 26th and I have no tune files yet.
I hate to call them for an update as I know they're busy with this group buy, but every time I've emailed them I have never gotten a confirmation. I have no idea if they actually received my email with the strategy code. They also didn't respond to an email last week asking for a time frame, so I have no idea when I will receive it.

Go ahead and give 'em a call. They may be busy, but as busy as they get, they still have staff available to answer these types of questions. I know the agony of waiting...but as you probably already have read numerous times, its well worth the wait.

I'm not impatient, I know it's gonne be a while, I'm just trying to get a basic time frame of how far along they are. If someone got their tuner three days ago and sent their worksheets in on Oct 20th, then that give me a basic idea.........
Sent mine in Oct. 16 or 17th and still no email with my tunes yet. It will be 6 weeks monday or tuesday. Really sucks that i had to pay for it a month and a half ago and still dont get to use it. I know they are swamped but i sure hope its here monday or tuesday.

The only reason you paid already is because they had to send you a blank tuner to read your PCM code. If you have your PCM code already, they send you the tuner with the tunes already loaded and don't charge you until it's shipped out.

I just looked at my emails and Neil sent the paperwork to me at 8:37 am EDT on Oct 6. I have a totally stock truck, so filling out the paperwork was easy and I returned it, including my computer's code, no later than 10:00 am EDT on the same Oct 6.
So it took them 24 days, or 3 of my 4-5 week quote to determine that they needed the internal 7 digit strategy code for my truck. If I'm still going by the 4-5 week quote, I should have had my tunes in another couple of weeks.
So then I read this:

I have to think I did lose my place in line as you can read above that I returned my paperwork early on the 6th and should have been before Brian or soon after.
My frustration isn't as much in not receiving the tunes yet, but in the lack of communication and response to direct emails. I only emailed after not receiving an answer to a post in the Group buy thread even though Mike has posted many times since my question.
Based on what I've read here I made the decision to order the tunes from Troyer rather than other tuners based on reputation and I was prepared for a wait. I will wait for what I perceive to be the best quality. But, having worked for a major mail order restoration parts company, I can tell you that customer service and communication, even over price or quality, that will ensure long time success. Troyer may indeed have fantastic customer service, but from my personal experience, I can not say that.
