Troyer Xcal2 vs. SC 1715

I am not one for writing about a product if it meets expectations but in this case I wanted to. Troyer's Xcal2 premium tow tune for my F250, 5.4L is stellar. While towing my 6000lb Travel Trailer, it was quick off the line from red lights and pulled great uphill. I didn't find one incident where it need to downshift and didn't or upshift and didn't during the whole trip. The power was excellent when needed and power was evident throughout the tow. It turned out to be well worth the money and much better than the SC 1715 which I owned for 3 years.

That's good news for me. I have an 03 7700gvw that I use for towing a 7000lb toyhauler. I have my XCAL2 on order from Troyer. Did you do the dataloging, or was it good as delivered?

I haven't done the datalogging yet. When I first installed the tune for performance towing, I wasn't towing anything so I thought that it hadn't been an improvement. Then I towed this weekend on an overnight camping trip and the tune really showed its stuff.

I plan on datalogging but it has been a bit of a pain getting the software to work so I am in no hurry until I get my AF1 intake from the Troyers.
