Question Edge Evo on Level-3

First off, I'm new to the site, best site for info and more THANKS !!!

I received and installed my edge tuner about three days ago. But I do have two questions, first I have a 2005 f150 with a 5.4 and I wanted to know if there is any recommendations on how many time you can program in a day or two with out causing damage (trying to find the sweet spot ). And second I was wondering if anyone has noticed when programmed on level-3, have felt that when slowing down the transmission shudders not slips. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

you can program as many times as you want. you will notice some drivability issues untill the pcm learns its new programing. i find it takes a good couple days after programing. also make sure you update your edge if you havent already

Cool

I noticed the same with my edge that the transmission does shudder a bit when slowing down at higher speeds (50-60 MPH). I agree with Adam06FX4 that its does take a couple days or so for the PCM to learn its new program. I even noticed this when I returned it to the stock settings when I took mine into the dealer. After 2 days, my trans shifts fine.

I really do not think its anything to be concerned with. But, their is a wealth of knowledge from others folks on here that may be able to help you also.
