I sent in my worksheets about a week ago. At this pace it'll be about Christmas before we get it.

It'll be well worth the wait. I've heard nothing but good things about Troyer(You are talking about Troyer, right?) Well, if not you'll be going faster before christmas.

I turned mine in on Oct. 11th...
Sounds like a few of us will be getting them around the same time.

I'm just starting to get anxious now...

Mike posted a while back that he was working on tunes from the 9th and 10th. I would think you'd be loading them any time now.
Mine were faxed in the 16th so I should be about a week behind you. I'm getting anxious as I would like them before the 25th so I'll have them for my hunting trip. Tank is already full of 93 waiting for the fun box to arrive.
I had it all figured out that I'd get them the week of the 25th, but if you don't have yours yet i doubt I'll have mine by then.

God, the last thing we need is another thread like this, you guys are killing me.............

Trust me, they're getting done as quickly as possible - for Galaxie, your tunes are done and on their way.

Now just some quick FYI in general - as I have said many times before, DO NOT make the mistake of thinking that just because someone else put their sheets in the day before you that you are going to get your tuning the day after they do - that is not going to happen, generally speaking. For example, just on October 10th alone, we got upwards of 40 sets of custom program worksheets back just on that one day - that is enough work to keep us busy for a week, as remember, everyone always sends in the most complex configurations during these group buys, or their vehicles have been reflashed, or it's got 170K miles on it with all original parts on it, etc., etc - and these things always complicate matters here, because we have to take a lot of additional time to work with the customer to get the info we need, or for them to get the vehicle's maintenance up to snuff, etc.

So trust me, we are working as quickly as possible, my friends - we know you want them yesterday, but we also are not going to compromise on the work we do on each individual vehicle, so that you get the best results.

Thanks for your understanding, everyone, and you'll get your tunes as soon as it is humanly possible.

Yeah, I did not factor in the group buy effect. I was just trying to figure when I might get them based on the 10 to 20 business days. I did not take into account the group buy effect, so I guess I'll change my hope-to-receive- by-date to Dec. 19th as I gather I won't get them before Thanksgiving, and that's the next time I'll be home.

Yes, I'm getting excited and have a tank of 93 in the truck. However, the truck is sitting at the airport, so at worst it cost me an extra 5 bucks for that tank.

Would not expect any less than the best, that is why I, and everyone else, ordered from you, not from elsewhere.

I hope all at Troyer Perfomance have a great Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy.

Hi Everyone,

WOW - Oh my Lord, that is one BEAUTIFUL root-beer colored F-150 you have there, Galaxie4me - incredible!

And I have to tell everyone, this poor guy has been thru the mill - he gets our email with the tunes, and has, what we think right now is, a bad tuner - so we overnighted him another one - but of course, the tunes we send in email are serialized to each individual tuner, so he could not use the tunes we originally sent out with his NEW tuner we overnighted to him - we feel terrible about that - we were so rushed to get out everything for Thanksgiving, and were down to the wire and were just barely able to get out the new tuner replacement overnight that day, and I guess due to all that rushing, completely missed thinking about the fact that we would have to do new tunes exported with the NEW serial number of the replacement tuner - good grief!!!

So anyway, NOW you should have the new replacement tunes that will work in your replacement tuner, Galaxie4me - I really hate that you didn't have them in time for Thanksgiving, as we worked so hard to get that replacement tuner onto the UPS truck before they pulled away for the last time for the holiday - and they virtually never fail like that - only to realize after the fact that we also needed to get the new tunes out - which we could not have done before we had to hop the plane out of here for Thanksgiving anyway - sometimes things just work against you, and this one was a doozy, D-oh!!

Thanks for your patience in working with us on this!

Ok....checked my inbox today and got the email with the updated tunes. I downloaded them to the XCal2 and crossed my fingers before hooking it up to my truck. No FEPS Failure....no FEPS Failure....no FEPS Failure please........woohoo......reading ECM........now the fun begins!! Turns out that I indeed got a defective XCal2 like Mike suggested! I would've never thought that me of all people would have gotten one of the rare if ever...bad XCal2 units. I just want to thank Mike and especially Crystal for being very patient with me while resolving this matter.

Thank you,
Jovan

PS. Now there should be a little bit more information in case anyone has to type in the inevitable FEPS FAILURE in the search engine

Hi everyone,

Despite being sick with the bug that is running around here (had to actually go to the doctor, who said it wasn't the flu, just needed antibiotics), we got 50 some-odd vehicles tuned this past week, so we should be seeing a LOT of happy people here very shortly.

For Jovan - glad to hear it was just a bad unit - that is very rare, but of course Murphy's Law being what it is.............

Thanks for your patience in working with us, too, we greatly appreciate it - now you can have some fun with the added performance in that drop-dead gorgeous truck of yours!
