xcal 2 and the
i was wanting to know what was everyones opinion on the xcal 2 and the
XCalibrator SF ? im am trying to decide which one to go with. i have a 2006 5.4 fx4 supercrew.
is the the best type of computer
i should go with. i am not using 93 octane, just using regular gas.

Hi innocent,
Well, the basic hardware is the same (the 9415 can be converted into a 9400 via a simple firmware flash), but the tuning is vastly different.
You will get much better results by having us do our Troyer Performance custom tuning on your 2006 F-150 - regardless of what level of octane you use, as we have specialized in performance tuning & modifying the F-150 longer than anyone else, 15 years now.
It's basically the difference between getting "canned" off-the-shelf tunes, versus us doing in-depth custom tuning that will get you a significantly better result for your vehicle - and we are doing a Group Buy right now, so this is an excellent time to take advantage of that and get our custom tuning for the best results.
We handle both of those products, of course, so it doesn't matter to us which you choose - to us, it's a matter of what actually gets you the best results, and that is our custom tuning. For example, on 87 octane in the 5.4 3V we typically see 25 Hp gains, along with much better shifting, the top speed limiter removed, improved throttle response, better overall driveability, and so many other benefits from or in-depth tuning.
