I was running the latest release calibration (v18) and firmware (v17) during the last year with my Edge.

I wanted to let you all know that the beta versions (calibration v21 and firmware v20) have completely solved my tranny clunk issues. I had my local dealer reflash my PCM a while back, and that did help a bit - but the beta versions have made my tranny shift smooth as silk.

I was tentative to use beta software, but I haven't had any problems with the beta programming to date. So if you are still experiencing a tranny clunk with the Edge, give the beta versions a try.

 

Ive been running it since july 5th with no problems.

 

It stills clunks for me under very light throttle between 35-45 mph on level 3 and does it with cruise down long low grade hills with both beta files.

 

On Level 3, it may be the torque converter locking and unlocking. I get a jerk from time to time when I take foot off throttle or hit the throttle. that is what it feels like to me.

 

That is what I am talking about.
