Calling Mr. TP
Hello. Alright I have around 900 miles on the 93max tune and am still very impressed and having fun. My question is, how much extra strain does this new found power put on my truck? Am I gonna wear out parts faster? Also I have heard that these trucks are tested to handle much power than the engine could ever put out... If that is the case, cool! What all do you know about this? Thank you.
The TP tunes won’t put any extra stress on the truck and they will actually help the transmission stay cooler by shifting quicker; not as much slipping
How you drive is the bottom line. If you constantly beat the dung out of it, stock or custom tuned, you’re probably going to shorten the service life some

Any advice on any "changes" that could be recommended with the new tunes, exhaust and intake ? Maybe that Quaker State Synthetic 4x4 motor oil ? flush the tranny and new fluid in that ? new fluid for the gears ? put in new plugs for the new tunes ? Just wondering what changes people may may done and recommend to do with the "new" found driveability after the Stage 1 from Troyer ??
thanks

Heck, remember that the Roush supercharger kit includes a complete powertrain warranty with their supercharger kit even though you are running a supercharger on the stock engine & transmission - even with 150+ HP gains to the rear wheels!
As long as these vehicles are properly maintained and treated decently, they tend to hold up very well over the long haul, generally speaking.
