1715 versus XCAL2?
Really, is there that big of difference between the two on a 5.4L engine. I don't want to go through the pain of selling my 1715 on Ebay only to find out that the XCAL2 doesn't really provide that great of an improvement. The hype sounds great but will my money be where their mouth (Troyer) is? Where is the math or numbers to back up all the claims I am reading on the site? Mike is a great guy but my money is hard earned. My SuperDuty weights 3 tons and a 5.4L engine is performing pretty well with the performance tow tune.

There’s going to be a big difference between a 1715 and a TP custom tuned XCal2, the in-depth custom tuning definitely takes it to the next level. Approximately 50% more hp & torque than a 1715 and the comprehensive transmission and torque management is awesome

Y'know what ph? If you don't feel like using search to pull any number of posts - (I just did & there are many) - about just this specific question, just call (540) 862-9515 and ask Mike this question. He has the supporting data.
Cheers
