Calling Mike Troyer

I know this is the wrong forum for this type of question but I know you come to this forum and I'm not sure about the others, but anyway I want to get your dual 16" electric fan kit for my 1997 f150, my question is if I have a car audio system with 2 amps and a capacitor, to the stock output 90 or 95 amp alternator. Will the electric fans work or do I need to upgrade the alternator.
All help is appreciated.

You'd be better off giving TP a call... while he may see this, you're guaranteed an answer by reaching out and touching someone. Give them a call tomorrow...

I have the same audio set up...2 amps Dig Cap...I now have more "noise" in the system at low speeds, while brakeing and turning...you can get a grounding kit for under 100 bucks. If that is the noise you are worried about. Do you have Troyer Tunes?

Well, usually were OK even with the smaller alternator - now without knowing exactly how much wattage/amperage you are pulling with that stereo gear, I would probably be inclined to say let's do the alternator upgrade, so that you at least have a 130 amp unit.

That's about the best I can tell you with that info for now, & IO hope that helps! Please feel free to call us for more details on this, but based on the info here, I'd say let's go for that 130 amp unit, most likely.
