Question Need help! Mike? Anybody?

Where can I buy a Superchips performance chip or programmer for my basically stock 2001 F150 with the 4.2L/5-spd? The only mod being a Magnaflow si/do exhaust. I looked in the online store on this website, and the Superchips website and saw nothing for my truck. Any help? Thanks!

Peace...

Give Mike Troyer a ring, he will hook you up.

Alright, cool. I didn't know if he still sold the Xcal-2's for 97-03 heritage models or not, since the new bodystyle F150's came out. Thanks.

Hi Peacemaker,

Yes, we absolutely still do support those 1997-2003 body style trucks, and even a bit further back, too!

In fact, most of those 4.2 V6's can't even go open loop in stock trim, so they respond *very* nicely to our custom tuning.

So no problem, we can provide you with our custom tuning, just give us a shout at our phone number listed below for your special price as a registered member here on F-150 Online.

I'll problably be giving you all a call around the first week of December Mike. I tried to get one last year around Christmas time, but funds fell short. Maybe this Christmas!

Hi Peacemaker,

We'll be happy to help you, any time!

Just FYI (as I'd probably get shot for not mentioning this), we are doing a Group Buy right now on our custom tuning, it ends the last day of October - I know that doesn't' quite fit your schedule, but I thought you might want to know about it just in case you may be able to take advantage of it to get the very best results, so this is just an FYI - and good luck!

Thanks for mentioning that Mike. But it will definately be around Christmas time for me. I just bought some new tires, so I have to start saving again.

Peace...

I think (check with Mike to make sure) but if you order towards the end of the group buy, Troyer will not bill your Credit Card intil it ships... this would get you in the group buy and not be billed intil around DEC. depending on how long the buy runs and turn around time for the tunes...

food for thought, anyway.....

Well, I'll have to save up the money between now and sometime early Dec anyway. So, I might as well wait until I actually have the money in my hands. I'm not sure if I can meet the deadline, so don't wait around on me.
