Right now we are currently running at an average of about 22 business days from the time we get the CPW's back to the time we are done with the tuning, on average.

Regarding reducing backpressure, that in and of itself does NOT reduce power. In a poorly designed exhaust system (which is actually the vast majority), the actual ROOT of the problem is a slowing down of the actual exhaust gas velocity due to poor exhaust gas flow engineering - the velocity is reduced, so the cylinder is not evacuated as well and the fresh incoming mixture is not pulled in as well as it could be, and this typically manifests itself as a loss of torquer on part-throttle at virtually any RPM, and a loss of torque at full throttle in the lower rpm ranges and thru the mid-range - and not a big gain in peak horsepower at full throttle at the actual power peak.

This is why we "preach" so much about using Magnaflow's exhaust systems, as they are so far the only ones we have seen that actually increase available torque at any throttle position or rpm.

Now with that being said, everyone has their preferences, and we hope everyone is happy with whatever they choose.
As usual awsome customer service from Mike and the people at tp. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Man I can not wait to get on those tunes! Also switching to the larger FLOWMASTER 40 I have noticed quite a bit more power.

I looked up your post from the day you order Iain, 8/31. Out of curiosity, how many are in the queue for it to average 22 business days for delivery?

So I may gain a better understanding of the process, is one's point in line determined by the day they pay/are charged for their tunes or when they return their worksheets?

In my case, although I was charged when I placed my order because I had to receive the unit and do a read strategy, did I lose a week since I didn't return my worksheets until I had the read strategy?

My guess

Is that you are entered into the stack when you return the worksheets.. Although when I ordered and payed over the phone we did an oral interview that I think may have given them enough info to throw me in line? Not sure to be honest though. Hit em up. They are extreemly helpful every time I call. Best customer service ever.

Hi Mystery Fan,

Just FYI - as per the rules of F-150 Online, these are matters that you need to discuss directly with us by phone - not here on the boards, or with others - only we can provide you with correct information that applies specifically to you - just FYI.

Now just in general, you do not go "in line" until we get the custom program worksheets back to us - we can't tune without info, and everyone's start date begins when we actually have the info we need - I.E., the CPW's, in our hands.

However, lets say we have a deal where someone has been waiting in line and has already turned their CPW's in to us, but then when we get to the tune we determine that the vehicle needs to be read - then that is different - what we do in *that* kind of scenario is that they go right to the top as soon as we get their read strategy info, and then email them their tunes.

I hope that gives you a bit better general picture, and please give us a call if you have any further questions as to order status - by the rules of F-50 Online, things like Tech Support, Order Status, etc - things that are between vendor & customer - are required to be discussed off the boards, privately between vendor & customer - just letting you know so you will be aware of the rules here on F-150 Online, and I hope this info in general helps to answer some "general" info on how this works - if you'd like to go over this in more detail, get specifics on your status, etc., please give us a call at our number listed below, OK?

Thanks!
