Well got tired of waiting on edge
So I was driving by my local 4 wheel parts place today and picked up a superchips programmer.

After one painless update it installed like a champ.
Shifts hard!!!! and I picked up 3 MPG in town.

Anyone want to buy a edge LOL

 

How do you know you picked up 3 miles in town already??
It takes time and several fill ups to proper calculate mpgs....

 

Just going off of what the edge is reading I reset it when I filled up and went on a 75 mile trip.
I was getting 14.6 in town now Im getting 17.7

Also as a back up I filled back up 4.2 gallons for 75 miles = approx 17.8

Atleast the dge is a good gauge package LOL but thats about it.

 

Knowing your luck, in about a week or so, Edge will come out with an update with the hex code for your truck.

 

LOL yeah more than likely.
But if and when they ever come out with an update I will try it out and go with the one that works best.
If they evo can beat the superchips then I will keep it otherwise it goes back to being a good door stop.
