Well I sold my lightning( don't yell at me Mike) and bought an 06 xlt 4x4 RC,FS w/5.4. How much does the xcal wake these things up. Mines like a dog when I step on it. I know I'm coming from a 400+ rwhp truck to this. But I didin't think it would be this bad.

Troyer custom tuning will wake it up, but only a blower going to give you that lightning feeling..
I highly recommend Mike's tuning, night and day differance... best bang for the buck.. and with a Magnaflow and AF1... which is Troyer's stage 1 kit, the three work super together and wake it up even more....

Thanks, Mike's the only one that's been tuning my trucks for the past 6 yrs. I was wondering how much you can get out of this 3 valver with the xcal.

I’ve had Mikes’ custom tuning on my 04 Screw since 12-03-04 and it made a huge difference in power and response, ultra reliable too; best bang for the buck performance mod I’ve ever done

SHAME-SHAME-SHAME....
Just teasing you evo because I went from a 490hp Lightning, to a 475 hp Cobra, and now I am driving this heavy@ssed '04 Supercrew 4x4..I know how you must feel, but fear not because Mike can give you the help you so desire.
I picked up 40+ hp at the wheels with his tuning on my SCrew..It will take a little more than just the X-Cal. I added an Air Force1 intake, his custom tunes, and a Magnaflow catback, to get the 40 horses, and that is on 87 octane. We have yet to tweak my 93 octane tunes. I will be adding the Roush blower sometime soon ( as soon as Mike gets caught up on his tuning orders) so we will see what happens then....

Hello Marc,
Don't get me thinking about a blower again.

Hey Peter,

WHAT?!?!? You sold your Lightning?!?!

You are banished - reserve the dungeon for yourself!

Just kidding - look, this happens to a lot of people _ I was going to get rid of my own Lightning and replace it with a Powerstroke diesel that we were going to use as a tow vehicle for the Cobra and drag race the diesel too - but Anita will NOT let me get rid of the Lightning - no way, no how. It's a 201 with only 30K miles, and runs low 11's, and is in very nice shape - so she's not letting it go anywhere. I think it was us killing a new 2005 Z06 Corvette last summer that clinched it for her, we just humiliated it so badly that after 3 runs form about 50 to 130 mph, that Z06 just disappeared, he didn't want any more. Thank God it wasn't a new 505 HP Z06, that might have been a different story once we got to 100 mph or so!

Anyway - just call em and we'll give that 2006 F-150 a good wake-up call - we can improve it's throttle response, power, and driveability to the point that you will be a lot happier with that truck - and over time, if you like, we can take it as far as you want, even quicker than your Lightning if you like (heh-heh) - that's what we do.

SO just call me and we can talk about this, and take care of getting that new 206 running a lot better with the tuning first.
