Fault code reader

http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_CTOBD.html
Does anyone know if this would work on a F-150 2005 5.4?
All I want is to be able to read any fault codes, plug looks the same?

Hi.

No.

From the link:

"This code reader will not connect to CAN-protocol cars (i.e. some models from approximately 2003 on)."

Your 2005 is a CAN-protocol vehicle.

Definition of CAN:
