Another order placed for TP

I purchased an Xcal2 a few months ago from a different vendor. But I'm pretty unhappy with their tuning. In particular, I recently went on a 2 week vacation, all the while towing my travel trailer. With the tunes, the truck behaved very strange: on steep inclines, once I crested the hill (in 2nd gear), it's as if the PCM resetting for a breif moment. The cruise would kick off, the RPM's would drop to idle speed, the tranny would go to 4th gear, and the CES light would go on for a few seconds. I put it back to stock program, and problem solved.

Yeah I know I could go back to the tuner and have them fix it, but I think I've learned my lesson. I'll stick with the best - TP. I placed my order for 3 tunes today, and just send them back the worksheets. Now comes the 4-5 week wait!

With Mike's knowledge and experience, I'm expecting that there won't be any problems like this in the first place... Changing thoughts, I fully understand and respect the first come-first serve policy that TP has, but man I sure wish they had a "rush" service available. I'm sure they could make a little more money; I know I'd be willing to pay extra ($100 or so) for expedited delivery. But then again, I guess that wouldn't be fair to all the other people that are and have been waiting.

Ok, here's to day 1.

Mike will set your trucks tuning up right, safe power levels, firm shifts, no throttle lag.. does a hell of a job with his tuning, really wakes the beast up....

I love my XCal2 so much, its locked in the GUN SAFE ....
