LOL I can more than afford it trust me .
I should not have to mess with this crap I should pay for a product recieve product and then use product.
As of this date only the first two of things have happend. So all I have is a fancy litle guage setup wooopiiiiiiii I am having to sit on my hands to keep from waving at everyone im so happy

In an analogy i used earler think of it this way.
You go buy a gun say a new colt pistol only to find out that no one makes any ammo for it.
So you can sit there and play dirty harry in the mirror but you cant shoot it so its worthless.

Agreed,

That would be the right thing to do.

I agree that the restocking fee should be waived. In any event, you bought it from Troyer and if their customer service is as good as everyone says it is, they should be willing to make it right even if it DOES cost them the 20% fee. At the very least you should be able to return it to them and be offered full credit toward another purchase from Troyer. Troyer only started selling EDGE Evos for the F150s after he saw how many people were buying them instead of the XCAL2.

I would have checked on availability of ammo before buying. in your case, I would assume that Edge is going to be lagging behind if Ford is using new and updated codes on vehicles and I would have checked to see if they had programmed for that code before buying. I did that very thing on my 05, as it had been dealer reflashed. I feel that is your responsibility as a buyer. Having said that, I do agree that Edge has not responded appropriately, they should be programming for the new codes and telling you when you will have it.

EDGE RULES!
Your'e too funny.

For all of the three best-bang-for buck mods, you managed to get all three of 'em wrong

Oh, yeah - you'll be my go-to guy for advice, for sure.

It's refreshing to find somone who's not afraid to go their own way in the face of established R&D .

Cheers

My .02 is that they should offer a refund with no restocking fee if the unit can't do the job.

OK, let's put it like this, YOU as in "MGDfan", buy me the "right" best bang for buck mods as you put it, and I will put them on my truck. So far, I like what I have on my truck and I doubt I will change it.

And as far as me being the go to guy for advice, PM me, I'll be happy to help you.

Hi.

1. Naw - I'm too busy saving up for my mods - can't afford to buy yours too!

2. Glad you like what you have - my point simply was, with a little research & a couple phone calls, you could have done much better for not a lot more dough. That's if the best performance-per-dollar was your goal - I guess that wasn't the priority judging from your choices. No worries there - they are after all your choices - and all this is, in point of fact, just my opinion.

3. If I need to ask for advice, I'll do it in a open forum - no need to go covert.

4. Chill - I was funnin' ya - it's Friday - have a great weekend.

Cheers

How do I know if my 06 FX4 SCAB has that TEGE3E3 code or not? I don't want to buy one and have it not work.

There should be a tag or label. I think it is down on the kick panel area, passenger side. Maybe someone will post that knows for sure.

I thought it was on the firewall in the engine bay. I might be thinking of something else.
