Hey guys I haven't seen this posted yet, been looking around to hopefully find something but couldn't. Here goes. Just got my Edge yesterday and just hooked it up for now to look and mess with it just to see some of the features. But anyway has anyone noticed that when you shut off your truck the edge still stays on to a certain point. The backlight will turn off but you can still see that the LCD is still active but nothing is being displayed. I just noticed this today when I got to work.

yea I have noticed that. But never thought much of it.

 

Probably residue power from the internal supply. Does it wear off after a short time (under 30 seconds?) If so that is likely it.

 

Nope just went out and checked it. Still has the same look to it. I know there is probably a constant power at the diagnostic(sp) port so that's probably why it like that not sure thou.
