What would troyer do?
Ive been rather idle on these boards for the last while just watching and learning. So I have a few questions for you experts and troyer.
My truck 94 f250 xlt with 5.8 351w
flexalite fans- custom ram air and k&n drop in- lifted 6in with 35s and stock 3.55 gears
Okay so today I came across a B&M transmission kit, it was what appeared to be gaskets and other funny looking pieces of metal. I noticed they have an electronic sender that also can vamp up the shifting. Eventually I will do a custom tune chip, what all can be done with this chip? Just give me the in and outs due to how old my truck is.
Do chips or electronic senders work well with the B&m kit. How good are the B&m senders? How do they compare to chips? Are these good products that will help my tranny and make me smile everytime it throws me back in the seat?

For this you would need to give us a call at our number listed below.
In brief, your vehicle needs a traditional chip for tuning - we do NOT recommend using the B&M electronic shift improver, that is not a proper way to firm up shifts in these trannies, that needs to be done via proper PCM tuning - and in some rare cases, by mechanical mods in addition to the tuning, but always the tuning first.
We can cover all of this properly when you call, & thanks for your post!

If I had my money together I would call you troyer, but a 1600 paint job is first on the list. Whats the difference imbetween a 4-bank program and a regular program other than the dealer crap.
I guess really what Im asking is do you recomend the B&m transmission kit. I have to many large bills on this truck to currently shell out 2-300. I would like to just have an idea of what I will do when the money is steady. Just want to know mostly power difference, transmission life diff., and gerenal engine life with this chip.
