anyone have this problem

i have got my truck on the 87 max tune and when i get on it the firsts couple shift hard like it justs jerks the whole truck, i am not fond of this im thinking of going back to stock tune

Normaly you can adjust the shifting firmness from the options menu.
Have you tried this?
Secondly, if your trans valve body has been reprogrammed then the Trans only or level 2, or level 3 program may make it to harsh.
I am in the Beta testing program on the EVO and have that problem {harsh shifting} until the unit's program bugs are fixed and I can do the adjustment.
In my case the level 2 program has resulted is a large increase in gas mileage on my truck both free running and even towing nearly 12,000 gross weight on 91 octane gas.
There are many things that are adjustable but you must have some idea of what they do and have a need to make the changes. It's all in the instruction book.
