I have not dynoed it or anything.
Mileage is not substantially different.
Power is impressive, especially from 2,000-5,000 rpm.
I like the improved shifting and the fact that I can change the shift points.

I would agree. The improvements are very good. The mpg are somewhat better if you can keep your foot out of the gas. I get with my driving habits about 1 to 1.5 mpg improvement. Then I get stupid and want to hear the magnaflow roar.

I like it alot. Have not put it on a dyno to see what kind of gains.

To the original poster..."Go Bucks!"

Also, I love my Edge, still my favorite mod, even more than the efans and tonneau cover. Considering how much I love those thats saying a lot! I am averaging about 14 MPG city and around 21 MPG if I do all hwy and take it easy (around 70 MPH on cruise) or 18-19 MPG Hwy if I am having a bit more fun. But thats on a 5.4L 3V with some other mods, so take it for what you will.

Efans are electric fans. They replace the large mechanical fan and clutch assembly. That in turn lowers the amount of parasitic loss of the engine. By requiring less power (because the engine is no longer spinning the fan assembly) you can gain some horsepower and fuel economy. I have seen claim all over the place from as little as 7 hp gains up to near 20 hp. I'd say it probably falls in between somewhere. I personally noticed a bump in power and smoothness from them (no HP numbers yet, have to schedule a new dyno run) as well as about 1-1.5 MPG gains.
