My Xcal2 from TP is on the way...My question is: Can I add a K&N drop in air filter or will this adversley affect the tune Mike is sending?

Just call them and the nice lady should be able to tell you over the phone. I went from Flowmaster to Magnaflow exhaust. I called them and they said that it shouldn't affect anything. But I would call them just in case.

HI 8iron,

the advice given here so kindly by the other members is right - just using a drop-in K&N air filter element will be OK, that isn't going to significantly alter the engine's Air/Fuel ratios, so no problem there. And if you ever do mods in the future that you aren't sure of, or that you know *will* affect the tune, we can always update it for you via email, no problem.
