I finally caved in and my Edge arrived today. I'm having trouble using the Lightning software and getting the Evo to connect to my computer with Windows XP Professional. Everytime the wizard installs it, it hangs on the file "edgeunin.u2k" with the status bar full. This causes the Lightning software not to see it, even though it shows up in device manager. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for your help.

Did you shut down any firewalls and antivirus programs? My firewall won't let it connect while its running even if I try to open that port/allow the traffic and I have heard from others that certain antivirus programs (Norton springs to mind but there might be others) kind of goof with the Lightning software.
