i have a buddy who has a 1986 f150 with a 302. it sat in the garage for about 18 years. it only has 37,000 original miles. oh and its fuel injected. he's put a k&n filter and 40 series flowmasters, this truck is a HOSS! he is going to put headers on it eventually but in the meen time he has been looking for a performance chip. i have looked everywhere for one and can't seem to find one. do any of yal' here no of one? or anything else that might raise the horsepower. i was thinking that they made one because its fuel injected so that means it has to have a computer. thanks for the help.

Usually we go back to about 1987, but we may be able to do it. just have him give us a call. As long as it's an EFI truck and has the EEC-IV PCM, there's a chance - it's really just a matter of whether or not we have his code, and what mods are done, as that will be a speed-density truck. Speaking of which, it would be a good idea to upgrade it to mass-air if he intends to do more mods to it, but we can talk about that when he calls - our number is just below.

Can you still do a tune for an 86 f150? I did and engine swap with a 2000 explorer 5.0 but have the trucks stock computer so it runs a little sluggish.
