Hi Neal,
My friend (and please take this the right way) - Instead of posting message after message here trying to get me to provide you with Tech Support for products we didn't provide, I would suggest that you do what we did way back when - which is to call MSD and and speak to an actual engineer about this. See, I spoke with an engineer from MSD to make sure we were doing it right years ago when installing that setup on my personal Lightning, which, while it's still an EEC-V, is different from yours and uses some pinouts differently as the PCM controls numerous additional things your truck did not come with from the factory - maybe they're all the same but just blank for the additional pinouts the Lighting uses, or maybe not, I don't know as I have not looked at the schematic - nor do I have time to. So short of me stopping what I'm doing to go open the hood back home and try to find that PCM wire which may or may not be the same for yours (should be, but might not be), that is what I suggest.
Additionally, as I've mentioned to you several times before, what I would also do because of ongoing little gremlins you've had on & off for some time, is connect a breakout box to the vehicle and diagnose that PCM properly and fully using Ford's procedure, to make sure that PCM is working correctly.
Also, I would suggest picking up a PCM pinout diagram for your truck, as would be found at any local Ford dealership by looking in their service manuals and simply photocopying it, or by obtaining the Alldata or Ford CD (perhaps looking at what Jean-Marc has, as I seem to remember you telling me that Jean-Marc had the complete wiring for that vehicle if memory serves), etc., so that you will have the complete wiring diagram.
Last - for anyone else who may happen to read this - when running a Stacker 8 on any Ford coil-on-plug vehicle, NEVER cut the exterior loop to enable the multi-spark capability of the Stacker 8 unit itself, as that will interfere with the Ford factory multi-spark ignition and that can really cause problems.
Good luck my friend,

HI!... Mike : Thanks for responding.........
1st off I called MSD twice and those guys were no help at all. Don't want to get into that but REDNECK comes to mind.
2nd I have no access to a breakout box or know anyone that has one.
3RD I will never bring my truck back to a FORD dealership again due to they are all idiots around here.
4TH All I need to know is what wire it is. I have diagrams and the FORD manual on CD. I can figure out where the wire is. I need to know what I'm looking for!!!!!!! Does the capacitor splice into a ground for the PCM? A positive for the PCM? A wire controlling the coil drivers etc.......... If I new what the function is of the wire I'm supposed to splice into then everything after that is easy and not a problem. Finding the wire is easy, knowing what the wires function is that I'm looking for is totally different.
I was not asking for "TECH" support as you call it. You told me on the phone over a month ago that you had a similiar problem with your truck concerning the STACKER 8. You told me YOUR solution so I decided to try that. Everyone I have talked to about this situation know nothing about what worked for you. So I figured YOU would be the one to ask about the wire you tapped into. Thats all.
I figure I'd try asking you here since you are the only one that I know that has tried this and it has worked.
Basically right now if I don't find a solution to this problem then I'm just going to send the GMS COPS and MSD capacitor back. If they won't take them then under the hammer they go..........................
