Dyno Tomorrow!

Well I got a call from Mike T a couple weeks ago and he sure had a lot to tell me. I was having some ping problems and it sounds like its my intake causing this. Anyways, I set up an appointment at a local shop, RacePrep, to Dyno my SCrew tomorrow at 10am. They think they may have dynoed a Troyer tuned truck before, hopefully all goes smooth.

So, is there anything I should do before tomorrow? Any tips? I got a SWEET digital camera for my b-day and I will take photos and take a video clip as well.

Hello Robamus, yeah that was my truck they dynoed a few months ago. The guys at Race-Prep were pretty cool. Looks like everything went well for you! Nice videos by the way.

Hey thanks a lot SC_05FX4! Yes everything went well, I was happy to finally see the shop there as I did a lot of street racing with some of the guys "back in the day". What tunes did you get on your truck if I may ask? How does it run, and did Mike make any adjustments for you? I didnt realize you also had an xcal as well. What gas do you prefer here and is there any chance you still have your dyno charts? I get some light pinging at times, and even the dyno operator thought the truck ran great, but was basically on the edge of pinging most of the time. Than ks for chiming in!

Hi Rob,

Excellent numbers for your mods, very nice indeed! Just from what little I see so far, you may not need much, if any, tweaking - but we'll decide that once we actually get all the data, of course, as always.

Congrats on getting to the dyno & on your numbers - talk to you soon!

Thanks Mike! I would have sent them in alreaady but the image files I got to send didnt include the data that my paper one did. So I have to go down and get all my runs printed out. They gave me a disk with all the info from the dynojet, I assume I send you all that? The thing is, we did 5 runs, 3 of them were good... The other two something was wrong on the dyno or something. I still have 5 data files plus the one for no load so I guess Ill send them all since I dont know whats what.... Thanks SO much for the help!
