The wait is killing me

Called to check on my tunes today and it will be another two weeks... pushing 10 weeks for my total wait time. Waking up every morning and seeing the AF1 in a box, waiting to be installed isn't helping either. Argh.

I know what you mean I am on week 7 waiting and the AF1 has collected a lot of dust and the box has become a second napping spot for our cats. I faxed my sheets on May 1 when did you fax yours? patiently waiting... er scratch that impatiently waiting.............

Waiting

I'm another May 1st -er. The worst part was that I called about three weeks ago and was told it should be in the next 2 weeks. So I had my hopes up. Put me on the impatiently waiting list.

I'd just install the AF1. I couldn't wait if I already the product. BTW, I love BOTH of my AF1 and XCal II!

Hello Vtron,

Thanks for your post - and for your patience!!!

I checked on your order Ron, and you should have them by now, or very shortly. You should already have received an email notifying you of your shipment - if not, please feel free to call us and we'll get you your tracking number (or the date your emailed tunes were sent out, if indeed they were emailed instead of shipped) for you, OK? Thanks!

Now with that out of the way - yes, I would indeed say that your time frame was longer than we would have liked - as were a number of people's orders for our custom tuning. And as everyone knows, the Group Buy we did kicked out butts in the middle of building out this building, and in retrospect, we should have refused to do the Group Buy a few months ago - but as usual, we tried to make everyone happy - and then promptly got slammed for it here with exaggerated claims of wait times by a number of people, while others (more often than not, actually) were just the opposite, being extremely gracious & understanding - thank God!

What has to be remembered is what is actually under our control - and that is only from the time that we actually get the properly completed custom program worksheets to the time we complete the tuning - everything else is out of our hands. Hey, you want a good laugh? Heck, I had one individual who ordered in mid-December who tried to claim he waited 16 weeks - but the truth turned out to be that he waited a little over 3 weeks (actually, 12 business days), because he didn't bother to send in his information for months - go figure.

Anyway........your tuning is in fact done and should be in your hands shortly, if not already there by now.

Thanks for your post, & for your patience, Ron - it's greatly appreciated!
