can you stack chips like you can do with the f250's? like use a jet chip under the hood with the edge chip?

Powertrain tuning gains isn't a matter of a bottomless pool of power to 'dip' into. The short answer is no you can't use multiple chips for more and more power. What you try to acheive is spot on tuning for your application. Once you are tuned you have all the power you can get until or unless you add more modifications.

Best of luck.

Hi twstd02,

No, you cannot do that with gasoline engine vehicles - that "stacking" of products is something seen on the diesel trucks, and even then is really done only because those companies are taking that approach in their marketing to make more money. Doing proper & thorough *custom* tuning to alter all of the things that can safely add performance eliminates any need for "stacking" of products even on those diesels, as all of that can actually be done inside the PCM with the controls we have thru our custom tuning for those diesels, so even on those diesels where companies do stack products, it's really more a marketing thing to sell additional products to make more money.

What will get you the best results is to go with our Troyer Performance custom tuning on these trucks, as we've specialized in tuning these vehicles far longer than anyone else, and we even assist some of the chipmakers with their F-series tuning. Most people who are looking for the best results here come to us for our custom tuning, as it all gets down to a matter of knowledge & experience on this specific platform - tuning F-series trucks is not like tuning virtually any other vehicle - to get maximized results on each & every different PCM revision & vehicle, it takes a lot of R&D and specialization in the F-series, which is why we've been doing that for almost 15 years now.

This is just some brief info of course, & please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below if you'd like to go over any of this or ask any other questions, etc., we'll be happy to help.

Good luck with your truck!
