Yes,,,2004 FX4 with the 5.4 and 3.73 gears. Mods are the Edge and a SIDO Catback. I was very disappointed.

I don't see how you could be disapointed. There are a mutitude of varibles that could affect your readings. There is a degree of error in the track system and there is some in the edge. 5 miles difference come on. the best would be to do multiple runs then take the average. Just my take.

I'm not disappointed that the Edge is inaccurate,,,,I just didn't see a same day track test on here before. I just posted this for the info,,,not to bash. The Edge is awesome,,,,my truck feels much faster with it.

I am although very disappointed in my trucks performance. I've read on here of some guys getting in the 15's and I was kind of expecting something similar.

I still have the stock intake,,,but I can't see dropping a second in the 1/4 with just adding an intake.

I am not sure how the Edge works so don't quote me on this one. IIRC the G-Tech starts counting on the hit, or lets say when it feels the jolt of forward motion. If you took off and spun the tires for a second before acctually getting out of the hole it might have already started counting where as the track dosen't start counting until you break the beams. So you could sit at the tree and spin for an hour and it won't start counting until you trip the beams. On a side note I would trust the tracks results before the EDGE.

I've run as quick as a 14.1 on an older GTech...and I'm fairly certain my truck ain't that fast.

I'm with 01TruBluGT...I think timing lights at a track are the only truly accurate way to measure time-to-speed.

No kiddin'...sometimes I'm tempted to brag that my truck runs 14.1s...but I know better. If I "really" ran a mid-to-high 14s at a track I'd be happy. But I doubt I'll ever take her to the track. I just don't see the point at my power levels.

For your times to be similar between the edge and the timing lights, you would need to stage deep. The clocks on both would be tripped with the slightest of forward motion. It would be interesting to see the difference between the two.

While I was playing with different settings today, I hit those same exact Edge Times on level 2. At the time I think I had tire size info changed, and top speed limiter upped....
